Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-24

This Cookie Policy explains how https://forrestcarpentry.com (the “Website”) uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g. localStorage). Consent management is real: optional mechanisms run only after you agree.

1. What cookies and localStorage are

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. LocalStorage is local browser storage (not sent automatically with every HTTP request).

We use them only for the purposes below and according to your choice in the consent banner.

2. Controller

The controller is — do uzupełnienia — (brand ForRest Carpentry). Contact: kontakt@forrestcarpentry.com, phone +48 535 578 711.

3. Categories

We group mechanisms into categories:

  • Necessary — required for the Website to work and to remember your consent choice;
  • Preferences — e.g. remembering language PL/EN;
  • Analytics — traffic measurement (not used yet);
  • Marketing — advertising / remarketing (not used yet).

4. Registry of mechanisms in use

Below is the current registry (Single Source of Truth in the Website code). “Unused” entries do not store data — they are reserved for the future and will not run without consent.

  • frc_consent — necessary — cookie — active — 12 months: Stores your cookie consent choice (required to remember your decision).
  • frc-locale — preferences — localStorage — active — until cleared / consent withdrawn: Remembers the selected site language (PL/EN) so we do not ask on every visit.
  • (brak — planowane) — analytics — cookie — unused (prepared) — —: We do not use analytics tools yet. This entry is ready for future traffic measurement — it will only run with your consent.
  • (brak — planowane) — marketing — cookie — unused (prepared) — —: We do not use marketing / advertising cookies yet. They will only appear with your consent.

6. How to disable in the browser

Independently of the banner, you can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Blocking all cookies may limit Website features (e.g. remembering consent).

7. Admin panel

The /admin/ path (owner only) may use a PHP session unrelated to the public-site banner. It does not affect ordinary visitors.

8. Changes to this policy

When we add new optional cookies, we bump the consent version — the banner will appear again. The current version is always on this page.
